Organic Reactions and Synthesis Organic reaction mechanisms. Named reactions and their use in synthesis. Review of basic physical organic principles. Emphasis on selectivity and stereochemistry in modern synthetic methods including organometallic reactions. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 3P21 .
