Description

Advanced Topics in Gender and Society (also offered as SOCI 4P51 and WGST 4P51 ) Selected issues in gender and society. Topics may include feminist theories, work, family, state, popular culture, race, militarism and violence. Seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to CRIM, SOCI (single or combined), and WGST (single or combined) majors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have approval to year 4 (honours). Prerequisite(s): two CRIM or WGST credits or permission of the Department Administrator. Note: CRIM 3P51 recommended. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SOCI (WGST) 4F50. #
