Description
Childhood, Art, and Aesthetic Expression Complex acts of symbolization and expression contained in children's art and art about children, including drawing, painting, photography, film, and literature. Topics may include art therapy with children, exhibitions of children's art, arts-based research methods, and the uses of art during and after social conflict. Seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to CHYS (single or combined) and CHYS BA(Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior) majors with approval to year 4 (honours). Note: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in CHYS 4V02.
