Research Methods in Applied Linguistics Design, implementation, and analysis of research that answers questions about language use. Evaluation of the effectiveness of language instruction and intervention in second language learning and speech, language and hearing sciences. Lecture, Seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to Applied Linguistics majors with approval to year 4 (honours), Applied Linguistics Certificate students or permission of the Chair. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
