Information Security Engineering Fundamentals of information security. Topics may include: security risk management; CIA triad, threats, attacks, and assets; vulnerabilities; cryptography; user authentication; access control; firewalls; intrusion detection systems. Lectures, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to Engineering minor students until date specified in Registration guide or permission of instructor. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
