Chemical Principles and Properties I Stoichiometry, inorganic and organic reactions, quantum mechanics, molecular structure and bonding, solutions and their properties, thermochemistry and gas laws. Lectures, 3 hours per week; tutorial, 1.5 hour alternating weeks; plus a minimum of five 3-hour labs per term.
