Special Topics Seminar The topic will vary depending on the needs of the program and availability of a faculty instructor. Seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to CHYS (single or combined) and CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior) majors with a minimum of 8.0 overall credits. CHYS 3V94 2024-2025: Children's Participation Practices, theories, controversies and contemporary issues in young people's participation, including tension between participation and protection. Topics may include children’s involvement in decision-making; cultural contributions; involvement in production and consumption; and children’s activism. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to CHYS (single or combined), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior) and CHHS, CHLH majors until date specified in Registration guide.
