Latin American and Iberian Film (also offered as FILM 2P95 and MLLC 2Q97 ) Iberian and Latin American film representations of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, exile/migration and politics. Emphasis on national and transnational cultural and socio-political contexts and on the study of national/regional cinema movements. Lecture, minimum 36 hours per term. Note: delivered online. Spanish and Portuguese language films with English subtitles. Given in English. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in FILM 2P95 , INTC 2P95, MLLC 2Q97 , and SPAN 2P82. *
