Monstrous Women in Hispanic Arts and Cultures (also offered as PCUL 4P60 and WGST 4P60 ) Depiction of women as monstrous or deviant in art, film, literature and popular culture. Feminist literary theory of alterity (otherness). Theoretical perspectives on self, identity, culture, sexuality, and power. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week.
