Physics for Scientists and Engineers I Kinematics, Newton's laws and forces; momentum and collisions; torque and circular motion; work and energy; oscillations, waves and sound. Lectures, 4 hours per week; lab 2 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): two grade 12 mathematics credits including MCV4U or permission of the instructor. Note: this calculus-based course is designed for students in the physical and engineering sciences and or future teachers at the I/S levels.
