Bio-organic Chemistry: Carbohydrates and Nucleic Acids (also offered as BTEC 4P28 ) Topics include mono and oligosaccharides, preparative carbohydrate chemistry, neoglycoconjugates, immunochemistry of carbohydrates, nucleosides and nucleotides, oligonucleotide synthesis, medicinal chemistry of oligonucleotides, amino acids, protein structures, peptide chemistry and post-translational modifications. Lectures, 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 2P21 . Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery.
