يقدّم مفاهيم الحفظ لفهم القيم المرتبطة بالمباني والمناظر القائمة. من خلال تحليل المواقع ودراسات الحالة، سيناقش الطلاب إمكانات وحدود حفظ العمارة، وكذلك اختبار إمكانياته لممارسات الترميم المستدام.
الشروط والإجراءات
- يتضمن: نشاط تعلم تجريبي
- يمنع الحصول على وحدات إضافية لمادة ARCC 3501 (لم تُقدّم بعد الآن).
- محاضرات ثلاث ساعات في الأسبوع

Introduces conservation concepts to understand the values associated with existing buildings and landscapes. Through the analysis of sites and case studies, students will discuss the potentials and limitations of architectural conservation, as well as, testing its possibilities for sustainable retrofitting practices.
- Includes: Experiential Learning Activity
- Precludes additional credit for ARCC 3501 (no longer offered).
- Lectures three hours per week
