McMaster เปิด McLean Centre for Collaborative Discovery ศูนย์ธุรกิจสหสาขาวิชาแห่งใหม่ (6 Oct 2026)
On 6 Oct 2026 McMaster unveiled the 10‑storey McLean Centre for Collaborative Discovery at the DeGroote School of Business. Funded by the McLean family, the building is designed for experiential, cross‑faculty learning and houses themed Learning Hubs, the Marinucci Entrepreneurial Bridge and multiple campus services.
The McLean Centre—described as Canada’s first business‑school building purpose‑built for collaborative, interdisciplinary learning—features modular learning spaces, smart classrooms, an auditorium and dedicated Learning Hubs focused on entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, sustainability, finance, social impact and leadership. The seventh‑floor Marinucci Entrepreneurial Bridge hosts entrepreneurship activities; Tej Sandhu (BCom ’10) has served as Entrepreneur in Residence since July 2025. The facility also houses the Office of the Registrar, McMaster’s Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization program, the IDEA surgical innovation program, Media Production Services, Housing and Conference Services and the new Innis Library. A David General artwork is installed in the main BMO Connection Zone.
