University of Regina открывает франкоязычный кампус в Saskatoon (3 Sept 2026)
On 3 September 2026 University of Regina opened a 16,000 sq ft campus in Saskatoon serving 1,300 students—800 in nursing and 500 in social work—with $4.2M in provincial funding.
The new 16,000-square-foot facility, inaugurated on 3 September 2026, expands access to postsecondary French-language programs in Saskatoon. It currently enrolls 1,300 students, mainly in nursing (800) and social work (500). The Cité universitaire francophone plans to add programs and pathways to ease entry to the labour market and to reduce travel to Regina (258 km). The Saskatchewan government provided $4.2 million in funding. University leaders expect the campus to attract learners from neighbouring communities and to strengthen local francophone education and services.
