McMaster University gikk med i OVIN Incubators den 5 October 2026 for å utdype samarbeid mellom industri og forskning, støtte Ontario-virksomheter og akselerere kommersialiseringen av bil- og mobilitetsteknologier ved å bygge på McMaster Automotive Resource Centre (MARC) og regionale styrker innen batteri og produksjon.
On 5 October 2026 McMaster University became a strategic partner of OVIN Incubators to accelerate the commercialization of Ontario-made automotive and mobility innovations. McMaster contributes expertise in electrification, connected and autonomous vehicles, advanced manufacturing and battery research, anchored by the McMaster Automotive Resource Centre (MARC). The partnership will connect faculty, startups and industry through OVIN’s New Venture Creation program, supporting high‑potential Ontario ventures, facilitating technology transfer and creating pathways for commercialization across the provincial automotive and supply‑chain ecosystem. It also aligns with provincial priorities for advanced manufacturing.
