Brock sisters honoured for academic excellence and scholarship at FAHS Student Honours Reception (29 Sept 2026)

Selina and Madeline Qubaja were recognized at Brock’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Student Honours Reception on Sept. 29, 2026. Selina posted the highest average among more than 4,500 FAHS students for 2025‑26; Madeline is a recipient of the Molson‑CHSC‑Folk Arts Council Scholarship awarded to incoming students from St. Catharines high schools.

The FAHS reception on Sept. 29, 2026, acknowledged over 90 undergraduate and graduate student achievements. Selina, a third‑year Medical Sciences student, recorded the faculty’s top average for 2025‑26 and moved from mentee in Med Plus to mentoring roles with Mentor Link; she is also active in Brock Leaders Citizenship Society. Madeline, now in second year, had been awarded the Molson‑CHSC‑Folk Arts Council Scholarship as an incoming student from a St. Catharines high school. Both volunteer with Vision Plus and a Ronald McDonald House family room; Selina works with the Raineki Lab and Madeline volunteers in Professor Toby Mündel’s kinesiology lab.
