Source publication : 2026-11-06 · UBC Okanagan

UBC Okanagan’s Bachelor of Commerce placed 10th of 33 in Corporate Knights’ 2026 Better World BCom ranking, highlighting the program’s focus on sustainability and Indigenous perspectives. The curriculum includes first‑year values work, policy and AI studies, and a standalone Indigenous business course.

The Faculty of Management at UBC Okanagan earned national recognition for its BCom in Corporate Knights’ 2026 Better World BCom ranking (10/33). The program retains core business foundations while requiring courses on personal business values, government–business policy responses to issues like climate change and AI, and a unique course on Indigenous business. A smaller campus community is presented as an advantage for closer faculty access and hands‑on experiences, including case competitions and ethics challenges that engage students beyond the classroom.
