CFUW Prince Albert, the local branch of the Canadian Federation of University Women established in 1931, marked its 95th anniversary and highlighted ongoing support for postsecondary education. The chapter awards six annual scholarships to high‑school graduates — $700 each currently, rising to $1,000 each next year — and participates in the New Beginnings Grant, a $5,000 fund to help mature women return to education or technical training. Members also played a major role in restoring the Evolution of Education Museum. The chapter plans a Coffee and Conversation event on Feb. 21 to share its history and mission.
