Lakeland College kicks off its 2026–27 arts season on Oct. 17 with El Niven performing classic rock
On October 17, 2026 at 7 p.m., Lakeland College’s Alumni Hall Theatre hosts El Niven for the opening of Vermilion Allied Arts' 2026–27 season, featuring classic rock from CCR, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
Edmonton-based singer-musician El Niven, known for his work with El Niven and The Alibi and for evoking John Fogerty’s voice, headlines the season opener Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 7 p.m. at Lakeland College’s Alumni Hall Theatre. The program includes Creedence Clearwater Revival staples (Bad Moon Rising; Proud Mary; Fortunate Son; Have You Ever Seen the Rain) alongside selections from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. The concert provides local audiences and students with access to professional live performing arts on campus and highlights Lakeland College’s engagement with regional cultural programming.
