Source publication : 2026-10-13 · Université du Québec à Montréal

UQAM professor Bernard Andrès produced video capsules for the Musée Ramezay exhibition “The American Revolution in Quebec…”, using AI to animate period reproductions. The exhibition runs until March 2027 and complements museum artifacts with scholarly media.

The exhibition 'The American Revolution in Quebec, our march toward democracy' runs at Musée Ramezay through March 2027. UQAM professor emeritus Bernard Andrès designed and hosted video capsules featuring interviews with novelist Pierre Monette (Ph.D. in literary studies), historian-journalist Dave Noël and Château Ramezay director André Delisle. The videos employ artificial intelligence to animate period reproductions, complementing the museum’s artifacts and documents. The Château Ramezay, occupied by Continental troops in 1775–1776, provides the historical backdrop for the display, recognized for its role by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
