Durham College reports its AI Hub took part in the inaugural UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance (Geneva), where Saba Siddiqi (Manager – R&D and AI Governance) engaged with representatives from more than 170 countries. The lessons focus on access, inclusion and converting governance principles into practical guidance for the Hub’s projects and training at the college.
On September 30, 2026, Durham College announced its AI Hub participated in the UN’s inaugural Global Dialogue on AI Governance in Geneva. Saba Siddiqi, Manager – R&D and AI Governance, shared applied-AI perspectives and noted diverse governance approaches, emphasizing access, representation and the role of human judgement. Durham College says these insights will guide the Hub’s collaboration with industry partners, researchers and students, helping translate high-level principles into practical, responsible practices across the AI lifecycle.
