Brock University has renovated and expanded classroom capacity, delivering six new teaching environments seating 36 to 100. East Academic 104, Mackenzie Chown Complex D Block 403 and Welch Hall 222 and 223 are open; WH 8G and 205 are due in January 2027. Work removed walls, updated flooring and furnishings, and standardized audiovisual systems to improve sightlines and audibility. The project follows accessibility standards including AODA requirements and includes sustainability measures — LED retrofits, low‑VOC paint and Greenguard flooring with 39% recycled content. The initiative received $286,446 from the TERF grant and support via the Facilities Renewal Program.
