Source publication : 2026-10-09 · McMaster University

McMaster invites students to complete a Belonging Survey and Census to gather data that will inform policies and services to improve campus inclusion and well‑being.

McMaster Student Affairs and the McMaster Students Union have launched a campus‑wide Belonging Survey and Census to map student composition and everyday experiences. Results will feed the Bolder Together strategic plan and help evaluate and improve housing, wellness services and dedicated support centres. The Office of Institutional Research and Analysis manages data collection; the survey runs on Avenue To Learn from Oct. 5 to Nov. 9, 2026. University leaders describe the effort as a practical step to shape policies and programs that strengthen inclusion and students’ sense of belonging.
