Durham College positions itself to help businesses benefit from rising defence spending. Following the Invest Durham event (Building Durham Region’s Defence Industrial Base), the college highlights 15 years of R&D experience, three mature research centres (AI Hub; Mixed Reality Capture Studio; Centre for Cybersecurity Innovation) and corporate training services to support SMEs and workforce development.

Its RITS offerings include 15 years of R&D support, three mature centres (AI Hub; Mixed Reality Capture Studio; Centre for Cybersecurity Innovation) and Corporate Training Services to upskill and reskill workers to meet industry requirements. Durham representatives took part in a panel on cybersecurity and workforce training at the Invest Durham event.
