UBC launches entrance scholarships for Professional Master’s (apply by Feb 1, 2027)
Beginning in 2027, UBC will award annual entrance scholarships for its Professional Master’s programs (MGEM, MIF, MSFM, MUFL). UBC will offer annual entrance scholarships to Canadian and international students entering its Professional Master’s programs beginning in 2027. The MGEM, MSFM and MUFL each include a single merit‑based CA$5,000 entrance award. The Master of International Forestry (MIF) for September 2027 offers a full‑tuition scholarship (approx. CA$21,870 domestic; CA$46,240 international) plus an additional CA$5,000 entrance scholarship. No separate scholarship application is required; applicants must apply by February 1, 2027 (MIF references due Feb 10). Recipients will be notified by February 28, 2027. Note: the MIF tuition award does not cover travel or living costs (estimated ≈ CA$23,000/year).
