Concordia professor receives the 2027 Nikola Tesla Award
Pragasen Pillay is recognized for his contributions to electrical machines and their applications.
The IEEE has selected Concordia professor Pragasen Pillay for its 2027 Nikola Tesla Award. His research involves electrical machines used in industry, transportation and renewable energy. A Concordia professor since 2008, he has also supervised numerous master’s and doctoral students during his academic career.
