On October 15, 2026 (12–1 p.m. AT, online via MS Teams), Dr. Maki Motapanyane will deliver 'What Form Knows' as part of MSVU’s Black and Indigenous Speaker Series. The talk considers how experimental and unconventional forms shape the production and circulation of knowledge within Black feminist traditions, arguing they can expand research possibilities without sacrificing theoretical and methodological rigor. Dr. Motapanyane, Associate Professor in Women and Gender Studies at MSVU, researches Black feminist epistemology, motherhood and childcare policy, Hip‑Hop culture, and equity in institutions. The event is open to all; registration required.
