Malaspina University-College, established in 1969, is a fully-accredited, government-funded institution, offering Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degrees, undergraduate (bachelor) degrees, university transfer programs, two-year diplomas, and one-year certificates in academic, English as a Second Language (ESL), career, technical and trades programs. Malaspina enrolls 10,000 students at its main campus in Nanaimo, British Columbia where Malaspina delivers a six-level English as a Second Language certificate program. All students are in small classes taught by experienced and highly qualified instructors. The tuition and living expenses are very affordable. The campus has a well-equipped library, computer and science laboratories, a gymnasium, and art gallery. Support services for International students include advising, orientation, accommodation and arranged social activities. Popular academic programs for international students include: MBA, undergraduate business, tourism management, computer science, humanities and engineering university transfer. Malaspina is also an experienced provider of customized programs for professionals and student groups from outside Canada.
