INTENSIVE ENGLISH IMMERSION
Our intensive English courses give students the necessary language skills to go to community college or university. The program also prepares students to be fully functional in a work environment where they need to use English or French.
FASHION DESIGN
FASHION DESIGN will teach you to finesse the steps leading to create an original line in keeping
with the industry\'s needs. You will learn to create garments from illustrations, sketches and workshop
drawings that you have created. Create patterns for samples and manufacture prototypes. The
program also entails researching styles and materials, market analysis and marketing strategy
development, promotional activity background and learning to choose appropriate fabrics,
textures and colours.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Discover the unique and
numerous facets of the design trade. By working with different shapes, colours, textures and
materials, develop your aesthetic abilities. Study the sciences of light and ergonomics to hone
your notion of balance and composition. Design, functional residential and commercial spaces,
which respects the client’s needs, standards and constraints. Use sketches to illustrate a
concept by drawing technical plans, or computerize your plans with the aid of AutoCAD.
Students who choose this program are employed with residential or commercial design firms,
private design houses and specialized furniture manufacturers.
2D/3D ANIMATION
Recognized by Softimage as an Academic partner this
program was designed using the latest animation tools. Create stories and scripts for
animation. Learn the valuable skills of planning a project and finishing on time, every time.
Create special effects so often seen at the movies, with ease and grace.
COMPUTER GRAPHICS FOR MULTIMEDIA, DESKTOP PUBLISHING and WEB
You will be taught the latest Adobe software and computerized graphic tools to
develop one’s artistic talents. By using real world examples you will create illustrations,
construct page layouts and retouch photos using computers as the primary tool. Learn the basic
languages of web development. Create a Web site from your customer’s story board to
deploying the final product to the world wide web. Using Macromedia products as your tools,
have your web site come alive. Finally students are taught to use sound and imagery for CD
ROM application in an interactive environment. Produce and burn your own CD and use this
valuable tool as a portfolio for prospective employers. This course truly is a Multimedia
package.
