We warmly invite you to experience and enjoy our French and English summer programs, our university, and the city of Montreal. Naturally, we are eager to provide you with some information on all three.
Our Programs
Our enriching four-week intensive sessions at the École de langues begin on June 2 and conclude on August 1st, 2003. These flexible and dynamic programs feature the essential combination of quality small-group instruction in the morning along with afternoon field trips (hands-on language workshops, cultural and touring activities) that reinforce classroom learning. We do stress that each student’s personal development is our foremost priority, the more so in that our programs enable students to attain their individual learning goals.
Included in the program price are accommodation and tuition; not included are travel and meal costs. For each group of 15 students, we offer one complimentary enrollment, which includes free accommodation and zero tuition for an additional participant who can be either an organizer or another student.
v The dates and prices with accommodation in residence halls or home stay are:
v June 2 - June 27, 2003 $1400 US (res) $1670 US (home stay with food)
v July 7 - August 1st, 2003
v Please note that the program only, without accommodation, is also available for $1000 US.
Our University and Montreal
Located in the heart of the Latin Quarter in downtown Montreal, UQÀM is a French-language university of 40,000 students. We offer 200 programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate levels in various fields. The Language School at UQÀM has been offering services over the past 20 years to more than 8,500 students each year in 12 different languages.
You may already know or have heard that Montreal with its 30 different festivals, numerous green spaces along with a 750-km network of bicycle paths, is a truly exciting place to spend the summer.
