Prepare your application

Create a separate checklist for each program: academic records, language evidence, deadlines and documents requested by the institution.

Ask how documents must be submitted and whether translations are required. Check conditions and refund rules before paying an application fee or deposit.

  1. Record the exact program and intake
  2. List missing documents
  3. Use the institution’s official application process

Assistance with Application to Canadian Institutions

If you need help with completing and sending an Application for Admission to a Canadian Institution, contact the CEC and ask to speak to a Student Counsellor.

The Student Counsellor will help you complete your application form properly, ensure that all your documentation is in order, prepare a cover letter and send your application to the institution concerned by courier. Couriering your application is a much safer and quicker option compared to sending by normal / registered mail.

We encourage students who require assistance with sending their application/s to call the CEC and make an appointment with the counselors before hand. This is because the process of preparing the applications/s takes time to complete.

For more information on this service, please contact the CEC.
