Public School Bridge
Six-Month Intensive Certificate Program

WTC’s Public School Bridge Program prepares students to enter the Canadian public school system. Students are taught the English language skills they need to succeed in public school. Also, this program gives students a general overview of subjects they will encounter at any Canadian public school.

TOEIC
Our TOEIC program teaches students the skills they need to achieve the highest TOEIC score possible by teaching English for both general and business purposes. Students who successfully complete the course will be able to understand question types used in all parts of the TOEIC, know how to recognize misleading information, and learn key TOEIC grammar and vocabulary. Our TOEIC students can do practice tests every week and have the opportunity to write the TOEIC test once every month. This program is designed for students with an Upper Intermediate (Level 9) to Upper Advanced (Level 14) level of English.
TOEFL
This test is primarily designed to evaluate the English proficiency of non-native English students and professionals planning to enter North American universities or colleges. The test score is also used by professional organizations and academic institutions in other countries.

Our intensive test preparation course teaches students the essential vocabulary, grammar, reading competency and listening skills that they will need to achieve a high TOEFL score. We offer our students several opportunities to write an unofficial TOEFL exam both on paper and on computer several times a semester. WTC prepares students who choose to write the computer-based TOEFL exam, using the most up-to-date materials. This program is for students with an Upper Intermediate (Level 9) to Upper Advanced (Level 14) level of English.

ESL (level 1 to 14)
Our ESL program is interactive and student-centered, with a focus on providing students with the opportunity to practice their English communication skills. WTC’s morning ESL classes are focussed on grammar, speaking and pronunciation, while the afternoon classes are centered on conversational English, reading comprehension and writing. Every new student is given an English level placement test and interview on the first day of each monthly term. These are used to determine the student’s levels of study in the am and pm classes.
Business English
WTC’s Business English Program is geared towards students with an Upper Intermediate (Level 9) to Upper Advanced (Level 14) level of English. Students applying for Business English may also register if they have a TOEFL score of 480/530 or a TOEIC score of 600/700. This certificate course covers business reading, writing, grammar, listening, pronunciation, public speaking and much more!
