Choose a study pathway
Start with the qualification and skills you want to gain. Compare the subject, teaching language, delivery format and location before choosing an institution.
University, college, vocational, secondary and language programs serve different goals. A familiar school name does not establish whether a particular campus or program fits your project.
- Write down your goal
- Compare at least three programs
- Check the institution’s own admission pages

FASHION!!!
Study Fashion Design Abroad: Canadian Education Center highlights Fashion programs in Canada!
From the traditional textiles of India to the street influenced fashions of Japan to New York’s Fashion Week and the runways of Paris and Milan, fashion is truly a global industry. The Canadian Education Center (CEC) will be highlighting fashion and fashion-related programs at Canadian university and colleges during the month of April 2005. This will be a great opportunity for students and professionals associated with the Fashion industry to explore the education and training options available in Canada, enhance their skills and gain international experience.
Canada is a hotbed of fashion creativity and style, producing design superstars including Dean and Dan Caten, the talented brothers behind D-Squared, and Arthur Mendonça, one of the industry’s rising stars according to British Vogue. Studying fashion design in Canada provides students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to be successful globally. From learning how to become a patternmaker, costume designer or stylist, to developing a collection and running a fashion house, there is an institution and a program available in Canada.
The scope of the programs offered span the entire gamut of the fashion world, and students can elect to focus on either or a combination of the management side of fashion and the creative aspects. Courses include forecasting fashion trends, sales techniques, wardrobe consulting, cosmetic techniques and marketing, esthetics to name a few. CEC Education Counselors will assist students in identifying suitable programs that match their interests, as well as help them with the application process.
