2nd Young Achievers Summer PROGRAM 2003

Canadian Education Centre - Hong Kong is pleased to present our 2^nd Young Achievers Summer PROGRAM 2003, a 3-week program co-organized with Global Vision, a school with a vision and a dedication to leadership training.  The program will be run in Carleton University, Ottawa, the capital city of Canada.

At YOUNG Achievers Summer PROGRAM, our future leaders have an opportunity to learn and enhance their leadership and interpersonal skills.  Our young leaders will have the opportunity to improve their ability in the following areas: Problem Solving, Decision Making, Time management, Communication Skills (Listening, Speaking and Writing), Team & Trust Building, Assertiveness, Networking and Negotiation skills.  Combine all of this with Dale Carnegie public speaking sessions, meeting with political and business leaders, visits to museums, a trip to Quebec, sports tournaments and interactive activities with native Canadians.  We believe that their experience will enable them to be effective student leaders, no matter what their role within their school, family or community.  For itinerary, click here.

Each small group of 6 - 8 students is led by a certified counsellor and a counsellor in training.  Staff members for the camp have been carefully selected for their qualifications, experience and enthusiasm.  They are all dedicated and passionate members with the gift to inspire our young leaders. 

Program requirements:
Aged 12 to 17, motivated and have a good level of English
All applicants will be invited to attend a selection interview in April and 30 students will be selected for the program.
