LSI Toronto

Details from the historical directory

Language Studies International has two schools in Canada; in Vancouver and in Toronto. Both schools belong to a network of schools worldwide that has been teaching languages for more than 30 years. LSI Vancouver is on the first floor of a modern office tower in the heart of downtown. We offer comfortable classrooms, a computer lab, a wide range of self-study materials, and a common room where students can enjoy their free time with new friends. LSI Toronto is located 2 blocks north of Rosedale subway station,in the heart of Rosedale, one of the city's most beautiful residential neighbourhoods downtown. There are restaurants and parks across the street and the major shopping and entertainment area of Yorkville is only a few minutes' walk. Classrooms and administration are on the second and third floors of a unique, modern building with an open air courtyard. Courses at both LSI Vancouver and LSI Toronto are designed to ensure that you will make rapid progress in all of the four communication skills. Through daily contact with fellow students, your host family and the local people, you will also have a chance to practice the language outside the classroom and will soon gain the confidence to speak in many different situations. Over the years thousands of students from around the world have benefitted from studying English with us. Former students tell us that they are impressed not only with their progress, but also with the pleasant and welcoming atmosphere and the extra care which distinguishes our service. Whichever course you choose you can be sure our teachers are suitably qualified, experienced and caring. They constantly monitor your progress and make sure that the course plan is most suited to your needs. At LSI you will meet students from all over the world and share with them the common experience of learning to speak English. The experience will be both rewarding and enjoyable!
