Choose a study pathway

Start with the qualification and skills you want to gain. Compare the subject, teaching language, delivery format and location before choosing an institution.

University, college, vocational, secondary and language programs serve different goals. A familiar school name does not establish whether a particular campus or program fits your project.

  1. Write down your goal
  2. Compare at least three programs
  3. Check the institution’s own admission pages

Building a career in international business will require having the knowledge to think globally and the skills and experience to act locally. It will be necessary to look beyond national borders for new markets and resources. This kind of cross-national thinking will require an understanding of international finance, strategy and other business functions, as well as specialized knowledge of regions and the individual countries within them. International adaptability will be needed to carry on business overseas, regardless of the country. To prepare for work in Canada and abroad, the IMBA offers a balanced program of formal study and first-hand, real-world experience. Up to 60 International MBA students are admitted each September to the program.
